TAGS/WIRE SEALS
The APS Inspections team is equipped with different types of locks & tags that represent a different status for a unit.
Red Tags – Used to tag a unit that is unrentable - Damaged
Yellow Tags – Used to tag a unit that is R2R – these should not be latched completely.
Green Tags – Not in use by APS
Disc Lock (circular Locks) – Overlocks - Locks can be yellow, red, or blue depending on facility.
Square Lock (DaVinci lock) – Used to secure auction units. Combo lock. These can be red or black.
