SMS Protection Plan
At All Purpose Storage, we understand the importance of keeping our customer's stored items safe and secure. That's why we offer coverage options through the SMS Protection Company. The coverage plans are designed to protect their belongings from unexpected events such as burglary, fire, and water damage.

Customers may opt out of SMS Protection Plan by submission of their own homeowner's or renter's insurance.
​
It's important to offer the SMS Protection Plan so our customers are presented with the most coverage for their money being spent on protection. In the event that something happens to their items while renting with All Purpose Storage they know that they were given the higher amount of coverage for only a few dollars more a month, which could result in a higher return on their qualifying claim.

Protection Limit Monthly Amount of coverage to choose from:

$2,000 worth of coverage = $12/month

$3,000 worth of coverage = $15/month
-
$5,000 worth of coverage = $21/month

Opting Out of SMS Protection Plan
Tenants have the option to "opt out" of SMS Protection Plan by submitting their homeowners/renters insurance declaration page to allpurposeoptout.com or email a copy to mgmtreview@smstenantprotection.com.
Their insurance declaration page will go through a reviewal process.
If approved sufficent insurance coverage the customer will be notified by e-mail.
SMS protection company will credit the amount of SMS Protection (For the month approved opted out) the customer paid to their storage unit account once approved.

The SMS Protection Plan will automatically be added to the customer's account until they receive notification that they are approved opted-out.
